Our Mission

   The mission of the congregation of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, is to enrich the spiritual and personal lives of the people of Union City and surrounding counties.  The members of Faith will achieve this goal through Christian love, fellowship and evangelism; by teaching the Word of God and Christian values to both the young and old, and by supporting community events that foster Christian ideals.

Faith Lutheran Church, of Union City, Tennessee, is one of over 6,200 congregations in The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), which has its international headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.  We have missionaries in over 30 countries, and over 2.6 million members in North America.  We support 16 colleges and seminaries and sponsor the radio broadcast "The Lutheran Hour."

  Faith Lutheran Church serves the northwest Tennessee and western Kentucky area, and has two sister churches, Trinity Lutheran Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee and Christ Lutheran Church in Paris, Tennessee.
